Drama Queens
What is it about sunflowers that holds such allure for many people? Maybe it's the cheery yellow petals framing a "face", or the amazing stalk as tough and rigid as bamboo, or the weighty flower head, often growing to an astonishing size, laden with hundreds of seeds.
These stately ladies found a place in our garden courtesy of the birds at the feeder.
